Former PSG defender Diego Lugano has made a totally crazy statement about Karim Benzema’s absence.
Simple stoned in the pond or real controversy? The France team, which lost Karim Benzema injured his left thighis preparing for his first match of the World Cup which will take place tomorrow, at 8 p.m., against Australia. A blow for the Blues who have to deal without the Ballon d’Or 2022. But according to Diego Lugano, former PSG player (2011-2013), not everyone would agree.
“Some players of the France team, with whom I was a teammate, are happy with the departure of Benzema said the former Uruguayan international for ESPN Brazil. A rather crazy statement, especially since the former captain of Celeste actually played with Alphonse Areola, Kingsley Coman and Adrien Rabiot, all three present at the World Cup with the Blues.
