Patrick Kisnorbo is the new coach of ESTAC / France / Troyes /

Transfer to City Football Group.

Much appreciated within the umbrella company, the Australian Patrick Kisnorbo will now be able to try his luck in European football, namely in Troyes, current thirteenth in Ligue 1 and another club belonging to the group. He thus becomes the first Australian coach to coach in one of the five major European championships. The 41-year-old coach will bring a totally different profile to that of Bruno Irles.

A solid central defender who passed through Leicester and Leeds in particular (mainly in the Championship), Kisnorbo arrives with good experience: in 2020-2021, with his club Melbourne FC, he finished top of the championship at the end of the regular season and won the A-League after a final against Sydney FC, then double defending champions. In 2021-2022, his team almost achieved the same feat, before losing on the last step.

He now has a good month to learn French, get his bearings in his new club and adapt to his new city.
