Dethleffs Globebus Go: the compact profile on a Ford carrier

The Dethleffs brand is taking advantage of the CMT show in Stuttgart to announce the launch of a new motorhome. The low-profile Globebus Go, based on a Ford carrier, is a compact with an interesting equipment package. Prices have not yet been communicated.

In reality, it is two Globebus Go that Dethleffs inaugurates. Their common point: the Ford carrier of course, and the 2.20 m wide which certainly establishes them as reduced width motorhomes.

  • Dethleffs Globebus Go T15: 5.99 m long, transverse bed
  • Dethleffs Globebus Go T45: 6.99 m long, twin beds convertible into a double bed

Among the standard equipment of these two models, note cabin air conditioning, rain sensor, skyview (glazed roof in the profile cap) and pleated cabin blinds.

Electric fridge and diesel heating

The technical sheet also includes a 149-litre compression refrigerator. A 100% electric model, therefore. The gas reserves are all the more limited as the combined heating / water heater runs on fuel (this is a 6000 Watt model as standard). The benefit on gas consumption is felt: only one gas bottle is needed. It is dedicated to cooking food. She lives in the kitchen. The bathroom is of the modular type, with a pivoting partition: washbasin on one side, shower on the other.
