RB Leipzig striker Christopher Nkunku (25, 8 caps) was forced to withdraw from the World Cup for an injury on Wednesday. In a message posted on his social networks, the former Parisian wanted to defend his Blues teammate Eduardo Camavinga. The Real Madrid player, who was in a duel with the latter at the time of the injury, received racial slurs after being accused of injuring the player from the German club.
“A thought for my teammate Eduardo Camavinga, unfairly targeted. The World Cup must be a moment of communion and not of division.can we read in the press release from Nkunku on his networks, obviously very disappointed not to be able to participate in his first World Cup with the France team.
