ATP Finals, Unusual > Ruud to Djokovic in the hallways: “It’s more fun when you make it more exciting”

After his authoritarian victory against Andrey Rublev (6-4, 6-1) on Wednesday, Novak Djokovic came across, in the corridors of the Pala Alpitour in Turin, the other player already qualified for the last four of the Masters: Casper Ruud.

In addition to congratulating the Serb, the latter allowed himself a little joke.

“It’s more fun when you make it more exciting. 7–6 in the third”slipped the Norwegian, before Djokovic confirmed with a smile.

In the semis, Ruud will play Tsitsipas or Rublev, while Djokovic will face Fritz or Auger‐Aliassime.
